Influenced by my own mental health struggle and the lack of resources for underrepresented communities, BMH_Matters was my passion project for CodeCrew's Code School program, as well as my final presentation for graduation. After creating an account, users are able to search for mental health providers by location, journal to process their emotions more efficiently, view mental health tips with various bits of advice, and in the event of crisis, the user also has immediate access to the Blackline and Trevor Project hotlines as well as additional online resources specializing in BIPOC and Queer mental health services.
